Owner & Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)

Troy Stanley received his professional accounting designation in 2007. He has been the owner and director of Stanley Accounting, a small accounting firm in North West Calgary, since late 2008. The focus of Stanley Accounting is on small business accounting and tax, as well as personal tax, which is where Troy’s background and experience lie.  

In 1995, Troy graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. He is very proud of his east coast heritage and still has strong ties to his university. While working towards his CPA designation, Troy has worked in various positions, including an Income Tax/GST Auditor with the Canada Revenue Agency, Controller for a technology based call centre, and a Cost Accountant with an engineering & manufacturing company.

In addition, for over ten years, Troy was also the owner of his own part-time income tax and bookkeeping business in London, Ontario. Troy’s diverse background, high level of knowledge, and excellent customer service skills have led to Stanley Accounting's growth, even in the throes of a recession, with high referral rates and client satisfaction.
